Audie McCarthy, founder and president of Marrek Solutions Inc., has been involved in the human resource field, specializing in recruitment, training & coaching, and positive employee relations for over fifteen years. In addition, she has more than ten years in operational management in both call centre and retail environments.
Audie is sought after as a speaker and a coach. She has written many articles as well as authored the book “Leadership – it is not just for leaders.” Her second book, “The Power of Networking” is scheduled for release in the fall.
Audie is pleased to announce that Sherry Pelkey, Marketing Coordinator and Trainer for Marrek Solutions Inc., will soon be taking the Marrek brand to Atlantic Canada, where she will operate the first Marrek licensing agreement.
With a diverse background in marketing and sales, Sherry has more than 20 years experience with developing and implementing creative, results-oriented marketing strategies for small businesses; including owning her own business. Working in both media and advertising (primarily in Atlantic Canada), she has delivered a host of marketing-based workshops. Most recently, Sherry held the position of Senior Media consultant and field coach within a division of Torstar Media group.
Sherry works at the grassroots level to get results for her clients. Her hands-on experience ranges from market research, customer service, and sales techniques to the implementation of innovative advertising and promotional campaigns. Sherry has a proven track record of working closely with clients to assess their unique needs and motivate them to take action toward personal and professional growth.
Sherry has successfully facilitated workshops and seminars for Marrek Solutions Inc. in Ontario. She has delivered and designed workshops in customer service, assertiveness, sales and marketing. People that meet her are impressed by her approachable, helpful and genuinely sincere style. With her big smile and positive outlook, she is a natural at drawing people to her and therefore makes an excellent trainer and coach.
