Audie McCarthy Making Waves in Hamilton's Business Community Hamilton, Ontario

Audie McCarthy has been the President of The Marrek Group since she founded the company in 2002. Combining her personal values of integrity, passionate commitment and goal oriented excellence with twenty-seven years of intense corporate training; Audie has succeeded in building strong relationships with clients and associates to attain a high level of success as an entrepreneur. Her vision has always included extending the same level of commitment to the community at large, and she recently advanced this commitment with two significant board appointments.

On Tuesday, September 16th, after serving 6 years on the Board of Directors, Audie took her oath as 2nd Vice President at the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce. With this appointment, Audie will take on an increased role to promote and improve trade and commerce, and the economic, civic and social welfare of the Stoney Creek Community.

Audie has also accepted an appointment to the Board of Directors at Hamilton Training and Advisory Board (HTAB). HTAB is a local community planning organization that builds solutions to labour market issues by engaging stakeholders and working with partners. For Audie, aligning herself with an organization that shares her vision of a thriving Hamilton community where labour market issues are proactively addressed and all individuals and organizations are able to achieve their potential was a natural fit. She looks forward to the opportunity to share her expertise and passion as HTAB identifies and addresses Hamilton's existing and anticipated labour force needs.
