It is the second week of January, already! Hopefully this week will find you back into the swing of things. Normality. However that is defined for you!
I have a few speaking engagements lined up this month. I will be speaking to the Professional Organizers in Canada Association, in Toronto on January 16th. Following that, I will be with the Niagara Chapter of the Osteoporosis Society for two sessions.

Speaking Tips
- Speak slowly. Nervousness causes us to speak faster than we normally do. Be aware of the need to slow down.
- Vary the tone of your voice. We all remember the high school or university professor who droned on and on in a monotone voice. Don't let that be your legacy!
- Smile. Look like you are having a good time even if you are panic stricken underneath it all!
- Be clear and concise. Do not ramble on.
- Use stories or examples that your audience can relate to.
- Don't fidget, pace or look down at your feet.
- Maintain eye contact.
- Have fun!
