There
was an excellent article in the Hamilton Spectator this weekend titled
"Balancing
Work and Life". Who amongst us wouldn't benefit from a
little advice on that subject! Who is busier? The individual clocking
sixty plus hours a week in a corporate environment or the entrepreneur
putting in countless hours to get their business off the ground and/or
trying to keep pace with it's growth?
Since I
have done both, I consider myself somewhat of an expert! The answer
is
both worlds are incredibly busy! So is the individual looking
for work and the stay-at-home mom or dad. We must not forget the grandparents
who often help out so that their kids can keep up with working life.
Do I have
any answers as to how to handle it all? Only one
love what you
do and it won't feel like work. Love what you do and you will feel less
stressed. Will you have more time? No
but it won't matter as much
because you will also be having fun.
