I had an opportunity to teach my new course, Inspiring your Workforce this past week. What a pleasure it was to work with managers who really want to motivate their teams!
One of the key points in the course is around the multi-generational workplace we have. For the first time in history we have four generations working side by side. Each group has different wants and needs. It can be a challenge when you are trying to inspire everyone equally.
And yet, you have to inspire each. It is your job, as a leader, to find out what makes each generation tick. If you want to involve them all in the running of the business and to help them understand the benefits each group can bring to the team.
A challenge? Absolutely! Is it worth the effort? Absolutely! Go for it! The results will speak for themselves.
