I just finished reading Ron Joyce’s book, “Always Fresh”. I find books about successful entrepreneurs, especially those who started with nothing (financial backing, etc.), extremely motivating.
I also find it comforting to know that there is no magic to being successful. It takes hard work. According to Ron Joyce; “Long hours… Focus…” and ”The slogan “Press On” has solved, and will always help solve, the problems facing entrepreneurship.”
Entrepreneurs do not know the meaning of “it can’t be done”. They forge ahead. They are persistent. They work hard.
So to all of you entrepreneurs out there, “Press On!”
To you corporate folk, adopting an entrepreneurial spirit sheds a different light on things in the corporate world. Think of your companies as if they were your business. What would you do differently?
