The start of a New Year is a great time to plan your training goals for 2007. As you decide upon the direction that your organization will take this year, don’t forget to consider the impact any changes will have on your people. Changes in your organization may call for training and development of your team members. Consider whether you will hire outside resources or you will use the developed skills of individual team members to train others. If they require instruction on how to train, please check out the Tools for Business “Training for Results” workshop.
See the TIPS section below for some general guidelines for training in the workplace. And remember – training is a retention strategy! Not only will it help people do a better job, it will help you keep them in their job
