“April showers bring May flowers” has been the theme in our house for about two weeks now. My girls are very excited about the milder weather, the longer days and the promise of spring. This saying points out that a garden needs care and nurturing to give us its beautiful blooms. In their book, “Leadership – it is not just for leaders”, Audie and Karen ( Roy) speak to this. “…It’s like a garden. You either nurture it or you don’t. The choice is yours and so are the outcomes”.
As you get out and see more of family, friends (and business associates), as well as meeting new people in the nicer weather, consider how you can nurture your relationships with others. It is your relationships that are your springboard to success. Even that most difficult person with whom you have to deal has something to offer to you and your success. Learning to deal with them and build strong relationships allows you to access their gifts and talents to help both of you reach your goals.
Please see the Tips section below for help in dealing with the difficult behaviour of others.
Have a great week. Lisa.
