Keep In Touch Solutions

.

This week brings many mixed emotions as we send Sherry off, to continue the great work that she is doing on the East Coast, and welcome Lindsey Gabriele to our team in Ontario. We will miss having Sherry with us, as she has become a wonderful friend and confidante, as well as a respected member of our team. We wish her all the best with her adventure back home!

Lindsey, our newest and youngest team member, will be taking over some of the marketing functions that Sherry is leaving behind. As a member of the Millennial Generation, the topic I spoke about last week, we look forward to her innovations and team contributions. Look for her at networking functions as she represents Marrek for a whole new generation of business people! Welcome to the Marrek team, Lindsey!

During times of change, it is important to support each other and help new team members feel welcome. If you have a great team, it is imperative that “newbies” feel they can contribute right away. Often, the first day is anti-climactic for a new team member, as not much information is given and they are not sure how they fit in.

Get them started on the right foot by following the tips for orienting new employees in the “ Tips” section below.

Have a great week!
