Audie and I have had many conversations about the skills we love to teach. The other day our discussion turned to a common thread that runs through all of our programs: “It’s all about you!” There are many specific skills that people want, and need, to learn in order to increase their personal and professional effectiveness. The one thing we emphasize, in all of our courses, is that putting those skills into practice calls for self-awareness and changing ineffective habits.

One of our most popular courses is “Dealing with Difficult Behaviours.” In this workshop we challenge you to figure out how you react to, and approach, certain situations. The focus is on changing your approach to improve your relationships with your work team and with your family and friends.

If there are certain people around you that you find hard to deal with, please join us for Dealing with Difficult Behaviours on October 1 st at Mohawk College.

Please see the Tips section below for help with how to focus on you.

Have a great week!

Lisa
