Kiss My Tiara

Recently, there was a segment on 60 minutes about the “Millennial” generation and its member’s expectations. They are looking for a fun workplace where the individual is respected and treated as a whole person, not just a mind or a pair of hands or a body to fill a seat. They want to transform the workplace into a more efficient, flexible, nicer place to be. They want to be allowed to demonstrate their creativity.

Interestingly enough, that is the kind of place I worked in when I first started my career. That company was Bell Canada.

That is the kind of business we are building at The Marrek Group.

Creativity covers a lot of territory. From looking for different ways to reach customers, to different ways to communicate to the customers you have. From what products and services we offer to how we deliver them. Creativity is released by humour and fun. This is the best way to get people to “think outside the box”.

With creativity comes accountability. If you want the freedom to create you must accept the responsibility that comes with it.

Please see the Tips section below for creating a fun workplace where each individual takes accountability.

Have a great week!

Audie
