Effectively Assertive – December 3 – Fennell Campus
This one-day workshop outlines the characteristics of the three styles of assertive behaviour. Once the participants determine their own personal style, they will be able to understand the impact of their style on the business. Communication styles are addressed as part of learning to speak with confidence.
Coaching for Success – December 4 - Brantford
Learn the art of effective coaching including setting goals, creating a coaching plan, giving feedback and reviewing the eleven characteristics that all good coaches have.
Successful Interview Techniques – December 5 – Fennell Campus
This one - day workshop teaches the participants to create and use interview documents that will increase their success in hiring and retention of employees. Using behavioural interview techniques, the participants will develop interview questions and scoring mechanisms for actual positions they are hiring for.
Problem Solving – December 10 - Fennell Campus
This one-day workshop addresses two major factors of problem solving: flexibility and creativity. Participants will use these factors to examine key problem-solving techniques, such as examining assumptions, modeling, shifting paradigms and drilling down.
Training for Results – December 11 & 12 – Brantford Campus
This 2 day workshop assists individuals who have responsibility for training in their organization. You will explore basic training skills, adult learning principles, utilizing training aids, analyzing training requirements, the steps in developing and conducting training, skill demonstrations, and evaluating the results.
Coping with Change – December 13 – Fennell Campus
This half-day workshop helps employees look at change and its impact both personally and professionally. You will explore approaches to change, resisting change, benefits of accepting change and the skills required for change.
