Problem Solving – January 21 - Fennell Campus
This one-day workshop addresses two major factors of problem solving: flexibility and creativity. Participants will use these factors to examine key problem-solving techniques, such as examining assumptions, modeling, shifting paradigms and drilling down.
Mastering Communications with Personality Profiling – January 22 – Fennell Campus
This one-day workshop explores the communication process and provides an understanding of the communication skills required to effectively interact with fellow employees and staff. You will gain an understanding different personality types, and what motivates each personality to engage in effective communication.
Managing Performance – January 22 – Fennell Campus
This one-day workshop guides participants through employee motivation and goal-setting, coaching and performance feedback. Participants have the opportunity to practice coaching and providing employee feedback in a non-threatening environment.
Inspiring Multi-Generational Teams – January 24 – Fennell Campus
If you are managing more than one generation of workers, this one-day workshop is for you! You will learn to effectively motivate and inspire all of the generations and distinguish between managing and leading to help all your team members work together effectively.
Developing Cohesive Teams – January 25 – Brantford Campus
This one-day workshop explores steps for effective team building. You will learn about recruitment selection, team dynamics, and performance evaluation. You will identify critical success factors in team building and how to use the techniques to help your team pull together to reach its full potential.
Core Skills for Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers – January 29/30 – Fennell
This two-day workshop outlines the characteristics of a successful supervisor. Participants examine the different communication styles, skills, knowledge and attitudes that are required to be an effective supervisor. The workshop will culminate with individuals preparing a personal development plan.
Designing Employee Job Descriptions – January 31 – Fennell Campus
This one – day workshop has the participants start the job description process by identifying the key responsibilities of the position and then further breaking the responsibilities into tasks. The participant will then determine the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to complete the tasks.
